
Harvey began his stand-up career. Harvey started his career as a comedian in the early 1980s. He hosted Showtime at the Apollo, and The Steve Harvey Show on The WB. After his performance in the Kings of Comedy Tour's original Kings of Comedy, he performed as a guest on The Original Kings of Comedy. He last performed stand-up in 2012 Harvey was the Family Feud host since 2010 and Celebrity Family Feud host ever since. Harvey was also host of Little Big Shots, Little Big Shots Forever Young and Steve Harvey's Funderdome. He is also an author and has released four books including his bestseller Act Like a Lady Think Like a Man. Steve Harvey Global was Harvey's entertainment firm. It is home to East 112 productions and various other businesses. He launched an African edition of Family Feud and also invested in the HDNet acquisition as well as Anthem Sports and Entertainment. Marjorie Harvey and Steve Harvey were founding members of The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation. They're a not-for-profit organisation that focuses on youth education. He is an seven-time Daytime Emmy Award winner, two-time Marconi Award winner, and 14 times NAACP Image Award winner in several categories.
